Week 2 - Round-up
Week 2!
Hi everyone!
I hope you're all having a lovely weekend!
Thank you for another brilliant week at The Sing Thing Choir! I've really enjoyed our rehearsals, and I hope you've loved learning the rest of The Best. It's already coming together so nicely!
A few updates and exciting things to share with you...
NEW MP3 & LYRICS RESOURCES!
Our MP3 resources are now LIVE in the new "MP3 & Lyrics" section of the Members Area!
You can listen to your individual vocal parts using the green play buttons or download the tracks to practise whenever and wherever you like!
A little arrangement change...
Some of you will be pleased to hear I've removed the little "Oooh" coming out of the bridge in The Best! It was a lot of extra work for about 1.5 seconds of music, so I think we can safely live without it!
All MP3s have been updated to reflect the change.
WEEK 2 CATCH-UP IS LIVE!
Our Week 2 video is now available in the "Choir Catchup" section of the Members Area.
It covers everything from this week, including the arrangement change, and recaps Week 1 too. Perfect if you missed anything or fancy another sing-through!
NEW SONG THIS WEEK!
This week we're starting "The Way You Make Me Feel" by Michael Jackson!
It's a fantastic arrangement by my good friend Joe Bailey, and I genuinely can't wait for you to hear it!
I'll bring printed lyrics, so there's nothing you need to prepare. Just come ready for a good sing!
KEEP SPREADING THE WORD!
A huge thank you to everyone sharing our posts, putting up flyers and telling friends about us!
Every little bit helps more people discover our lovely choir, and I really appreciate your support. Please keep spreading the Sing Thing love!
HAVE YOU VOTED?
Our first Member Song Poll is LIVE in the Members Area!
Lots of you have already voted, but if you haven't, make sure you have your say on our Week 5 song!
And don't worry if your favourite doesn't win. There'll be plenty more opportunities!
CHRISTMAS PARTY – TICKETS ON SALE!
Our very first Sing Thing Christmas Party is happening!
Friday 18th December 2026 Langham Community Centre Tickets: £15 per person
We've got live music from Barney & The Rubbles, dancing, singing and plenty of festive fun!
Partners and guests are very welcome, and feel free to bring your own drinks and nibbles for your table.
Tickets are available now in the "Events" section of the website.
It'll be lovely to bring all four choirs together for a proper celebration. I hope to see lots of you there!
That's everything for now!
Thank you again for making these first couple of weeks so enjoyable. It's lovely seeing this little community grow, and I'm really excited about what's ahead!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and I'll see you all for Week 3!
